Description

2016 Employer Forum: Unlock Bias, Leverage Global Talent

Forward thinking HR professionals and hiring managers understand the business imperative behind hiring immigrant talent, but they also know that the global competition to secure this talent is immense.

With a focus on the technology and manufacturing sectors, the 2016 Employer Forum provides concrete strategies, resources and tools that employers can use to maintain a competitive edge and effectively integrate skilled immigrants into the workplace.

Keynote speaker Laraine Kaminsky will explore the unconscious biases that lead even the savviest hiring managers to make detrimental business decisions - and how you can ensure that your organization is a step ahead. Then, a panel of representatives from TELUS, BioTalent Canada and Ampco Manufacturers will discuss the successful practices they use to integrate immigrant talent into their workplaces.
